How Many iPhone parts are made by Samsung?

There are several key components from Samsung that we can find in the iPhone.

Apple wouldn’t work alone to make such incredible products. The iPhone models are produced by different manufacturers.

One of the pivotal manufacturers is Samsung.

Although Samsung is one of the largest competitors to Apple in the market, they work together for good reasons. Samsung operates the factories that supply the circuits for the iPhone. This party supplies a numerous number of parts that Apple requires to assemble their iPhone devices.

These are the key components which Samsung has produced for the important parts of the iPhone models:

CPU

Samsung has been known as a huge supporter of the central processing unit for iPhone devices. It comes with a system-on-a-chip which mixes the central processor and graphics processor into one package. I am sure it is not a new thing for you since you can also see this practice on a PC or laptop that combines the microprocessor with the graphic processor into a single unit.

Apple has ever incorporated the Cortex microprosessor and the GPU into one package. Samsung also manufactured the chip for the later models of the iPhone handheld device.

Flash memory

Samsung flash memory is also a pivotal part of some iPhone models. It is an internal memory used in handheld devices. It works pretty much the same as the standard internal memory that you can find in other portable devices. The flash memory or internal memory for the iPhone models can be varied depending on the particular model, from 16, 32, 64 to 128 GB in size. Users could use this internal memory to store their audio, videos, music, apps, and others besides the external memory.

RAM

Random-access memory is an important component in determining the speed and performance of the mobile smartphone.

Apple has multiple suppliers for its RAM. But one of the most significant providers is Samsung. We know how great Samsung built their smartphones. Most of its models are always in the top sales and are popular in the Android world. It is sensible that Apple and Samsung work together in terms of RAM supplies. RAM is used to store temporary app data for the immediate results of actions. RAM is volatile, not like flash memory. So, your app progress which you don’t save in flash memory will be lost if your iPhone device is turned off.

Other parts

The iPhone also uses other parts from Samsung, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, and a touch screen.
